Just had two auditions - both pilots: one single cam, one multicam.
I went from playing a young spoiled wife, to a girl who just had her first orgasm with the help of "the Cadillac of all vibrators." (Sidney Poitier's daughter was there too, by the way).
A day in the life, right?
So what does one do after this re-enacted post orgasmic audition? Treat yourself to a yummy lunch from one of my all-time favorite places to eat in LA.

I pretty much love everything there, and highly recommend it.
And here's the thing -- I'm not vegetarian, nor vegan, nor discriminatory of any food, actually. But there's something so fantastic about putting good, flavorful, organic food in your system. I swear I feel the difference; and it's a hell of a lot better than going through the McDonalds drive thru (which, oh my, I used to do as a post audition "treat." And that is just nasty wrong on so many levels).

Nice! I used to do the same thing with Burger King as my post-audition treat but then realized I don't have the immune system or metabolism of a 19 year old martial artist any more.

I keep making comments and deleting them. Nothing is quite right. I'm currently watching SEX AND THE CITY on DVD and everything just keeps coming out Samantha.... sorry...like, "At least you got an orgasm even if you didn't get the part ~ if you did it right, that is." See what I mean?????
ReplyDeleteRobin, however, is stymied. Okay, here goes. I hope you get the part that is more fun to play and I am glad you aren't eating McDonald's anymore. That place is terrible. Even their salad upsets my digestive tract. How's that for honest?

In the summertime, if I'm really digging on the extra calories, I'll get a caramel frappoccino because nothing says Post Summer Audition like one of those does.
ReplyDeleteI actually remember walking back to my apt, on my cell phone with a starbucks drink in my hand thinking, yup, I'm SO LA.
